In addition to traditional Chinese-style Acupuncture, David incorporates more gentle Japanese styles of needling and specialized systems that focus on the ear for needle-free techniques. Oriental medicine is a many thousands of years old system of healing that has been refined over the ages and has changed with advances in technology and Western medical development. Acupuncture has been shown through systematic, case-controlled clinical studies to be highly effective for the management of a wide variety of acute and chronic health conditions. Acupuncture is extremely safe when performed by licensed acupuncturists—providing a natural, drug-free alternative for patients. Acupuncture can be used alone or in conjunction with Western medical interventions, and is especially useful in instances where Western medicine is unable to provide adequate symptom relief.
